• queryProductDetailsAsync callback updated for Billing 8 QueryProductDetailsResult.
• Existing product loading and purchase flow preserved.
• Existing BillingClient connection preserved.
• Existing launchBillingFlow implementation preserved.
• Existing onPurchasesUpdated flow preserved.
• Existing purchase-state validation preserved.
• Existing purchase token and backend verification flow preserved.
• Existing purchase consume/acknowledgement logic preserved.

• No old Billing API usage remains in the project.

2. Android 16 / API 36 Upgrade

• compileSdk upgraded from API 35 to API 36.
• targetSdk upgraded from API 35 to API 36.
• minSdk remains unchanged at API 24.
• Android Gradle Plugin upgraded from 8.8.1 to 8.9.1 for API 36 compatibility.
• Existing Gradle and JDK configuration retained where already compatible.
• Android 16 back-navigation compatibility was handled while preserving the existing app navigation behavior.
• Existing camera and microphone permissions were preserved.
• No unnecessary permissions were added.

3. Build Validation

• Release Java compilation completed successfully.
• Release bundle build completed successfully.
• Billing 8.0.0 resolves correctly in the release build.
• API 36 configuration is present in the final merged build configuration.

4. Existing Application Configuration Preserved

• Application package and namespace were not changed.
• Application name was not changed.
• Version code and version name were not modified as part of this work.
• Firebase configuration was not changed.
• Google Sign-In configuration was not changed.

• Wallet and purchase business logic were not changed.
• No unrelated UI or feature changes were made.

5. Final Status

Google Play Billing 8 and Android API 36 compatibility work for Fah Swe is complete. The project now successfully compiles and builds with Billing Library 8.0.0 and Android API 36 while preserving the existing application functionality and business logic.
