A clear handover to a new owner with the existing loan schedule.

Guide updated: October 17, 2026

App Transfers separates the owner's invitation, the buyer's acceptance and KYC, and Fah Swe's final approval into clear steps. This guide explains what each person needs to do.

Before you start

The current owner needs an approved loan app with a remaining balance. The receiving owner needs a separate active Fah Swe account with a verified email. A pending application becomes transferable after it becomes an approved loan.

Each person uses their own account. The parties agree any private resale price; Fah Swe does not collect or guarantee that amount. Keep account passwords, OTPs and identity documents private.

1. Invite the buyer

Choose your loan app and enter the buyer's verified Fah Swe account email. The invitation is valid for seven days.

2. Review and accept

The buyer reviews the total, paid credit, remaining balance and invoices, then accepts using their legal name. An available one-time app rename is optional.

3. Complete buyer KYC

The buyer completes their own identity verification. Their full name must match the accepted name. The project is paused during this review.

4. Fah Swe approval

Fah Swe reviews KYC, checks the unchanged loan schedule and prepares the app access handover. Only an administrator can approve the transfer.

5. Ownership transferred

The app project and all paid, partially paid and unpaid invoices move to the buyer. The previous owner loses private project and invoice access.

Your loan and invoice continuity

The original total, paid credit, remaining balance, currency, installment amounts and due dates stay the same. There is no new advance. All paid, partially paid and unpaid invoices move to the receiving account with their original numbers and payment history.

If payments or the schedule change during review, the receiving owner must review and accept the updated figures again. Payment evidence under review must be resolved by the administrator first.

One-time app display name

An app display name can change once during the lifetime of a loan. The buyer can request it when accepting. Once the approved transfer saves that change, another rename is unavailable. The original project name and existing Recent Work / Portfolio URL remain intact.

Status and next actions

Awaiting buyer acceptance: the receiving owner opens the invitation in App Transfers. Buyer KYC required: the receiver completes identity verification. Manual approval required: Fah Swe reviews identity and app access. Transfer complete: the new owner manages the loan from My Loans, Projects and Invoices.

Before approval, the owner can withdraw the invitation or the receiver can decline it. Rejection, withdrawal or expiry restores the previous loan state. If the receiving account is inactive, its email is unverified or the KYC name differs, correct those details before continuing.

Sell or transfer your loan app

An owner can request a transfer to another active, registered Fah Swe account. The receiving account must accept the current loan schedule and transfer terms, provide its own KYC, and receive manual administrator approval. Never share your account password with the buyer. Fah Swe does not collect or guarantee a private resale price between the two parties.

Once the receiving account accepts, the project is paused during identity review. The loan does not become active for the buyer until KYC is approved and Fah Swe completes the transfer. A rejected, withdrawn or expired transfer restores the previous loan state. A pending invitation expires after seven days.

The original total, actual paid credit, remaining balance, installment amounts, currency and due dates are carried forward without a reset, discount or new advance. All paid, partially paid and unpaid invoices for the loan project move to the receiving account with the same invoice numbers, dates, amounts, payment records and outstanding balances. The original billing party and the account on which earlier payments were recorded remain in the accounting history. The receiving account can open the invoices and pay remaining amounts; the former account loses invoice access. KYC, identity signatures and private payment-proof uploads are not shared with the buyer. If the schedule changes during review, the buyer must review and accept the updated terms again.

The recipient may choose an app display name once for the lifetime of that loan. After the transfer saves that change, later editing or another rename is disabled. The original project title and ranked URL stay unchanged. Recent Work can show the original name, current display name and transfer status without exposing KYC or either party's private contact details.

After successful transfer, the former account loses project and future-payment access. Its loan-specific KYC is detached and deleted when no other active agreement needs the same identity pack. The buyer's KYC is kept only under the normal active-loan retention rules. Fah Swe staff complete hosting and access handover; historical financial records stay intact.

Does a transfer change the remaining loan balance?

The same original total, paid credit, remaining balance and installment schedule continue under the new owner.

When does the new owner receive the app and invoices?

After buyer acceptance, KYC review and final administrator approval, the project and all invoices move to the receiving account. Fah Swe staff complete hosting and external app-access handover.

How long is a transfer invitation valid?

An invitation is valid for seven days. Start a new request after it expires.
